We are pleased to announce the MMC is hosting two workshops this year for the CWMS community.
Each workshop has a maximum of 30 attendees, so offices are limited to two seats per workshop. If you would like to attend, please use the sign-up sheets listed below.
Location: Fort Worth, Texas - 1st Floor Training Room (SWF Computer Lab 1A03)
Workshop Dates: April 8-10, 2025
Travel Dates: April 7 & 11, 2025
Description: This workshop will be a mixture of hands-on learning and presentations. The workflow will include an instructor talking about or demonstrating a process and then attendees will replicate the process with their model and see if there is beneficial impacts to their model and/or workflow.
Intended Attendees: Water management staff who calibrate or maintain HEC-HMS models for real-time operation (HEC-RTS or CWMS) and have a working understanding of their model.
Workshop Attendee Prioritization: This workshop has a limit of 30 attendees. Anyone over the 30 attendees will be noted as an alternative. Additionally, we are prioritizing distribution amongst the offices, so the first person from each office to signup will get a confirmation email while any others will be noted as an alternative. Once we get closer to the workshop time, we will let alternatives into the workshop in the order they registered as well as trying to balance office distribution, if we have open slots.
